Bio-ITech opens US office

December 8, 2017, Groningen, The Netherlands and Boston, Cambridge MA United States.

Bio-ITech is excited to announce the opening of a new office in the United States. Bio-ITech US is a division of Eppendorf, Inc. and its foundation marks the first steps in the further intensifying collaboration between the Eppendorf Group and Bio-ITech. Earlier this year, Eppendorf acquired a majority share of Bio-ITech, and the establishment of a US office is a logical next step for Bio-ITech. Since the launch of the Bio-ITech software product eLABJournal, an easy-to-use Electronic Lab Notebook system dedicated to document and exchange research data, the use base in the US has grown rapidly. Particularly, the advanced sample tracking module integrated in the ELN, including sample barcode labelling and identification, is well received by our US customers. Bio-ITech already serves thousands of users around the globe and the US has always been one of the largest use base of our software products. With the opening of the Bio-ITech US office, we are able to better serve our US customers. Cambridge, MA is well-known as one of the largest biotech hubs in the US and is an important market for Bio-ITech. The new office is located on Harvard Square, right in the heart of where our customers thrive.
